  • High speed video of water drops falling into glass. The drop falls about half way into the clip. The camera is a Nikon 1 J1. Frame rate is 400fps. Ellen took this video on our trip to New Orleans.
  • We went for a walk yesterday afternoon at Gibb's Garden. What a treat... Thousands of Daffodils are blooming. In fact, there is an entire field of them planted further up this hill.<br /> <br /> In the photo, I think it's tough to tell where the edge of the water is... except in certain places, like the small rock right of center and where branches meet the water surface. Otherwise, the two scenes blend almost seamlessly. Of course, the reflection is above.

  • Bloody Pond Scum!!!<br /> <br /> If the groundskeeper at Gibbs Garden was British, I'm sure this is what he'd be saying.<br /> <br /> I could not resist capturing the striations on the surface of this pond. And, I turned them red for fun. Looks like the surface of a blood separating tank in some sci-fi / horror film.
