I've shot a lot from the iPhone recently. It occured to me yesterday that this camera can physically get into positions that the large DSLR can't. In this shot, the lens and sensor are right at the keyboard edge. I don't think I could get that close otherwise. Another nice thing about the small sensor is a greater depth-of-field. I'd estimate it's at least a couple of inches in this picture.
The picture was take with Camera+ which has a great camera stabilzer. A few minor tweaks were made to the histogram in Photogene2. And the effect, 'More Wang', was applied using SmugMugs 'Camera Awesome'... all iPhone apps.
